Our co-curricular program provides the spaces, support and structure for every child to uncover talents, develop skills and work towards new ambitions. From the sports field to the drama stage, and with a wide range of extra learning opportunities, tours, camps and other activities, we鈥檙e proud to offer an enriching experience for every student.
Sport
Join the team
Students participate in School Sports Victoria (SSV) competitions. SSV is a statewide contest for metropolitan and country schools, including Catholic, Independent and State schools.
We enter events based on student interest. Firstly, we compete at the local level (Upper Hume). Victors progress to regional (Hume) and finally state (State Championships). In 2019, we had nine sporting teams across all year levels and sports make it to State Championships. Among these sports were netball, basketball, cricket, tennis and Australian Rules Football. We also sent strong swimming, athletics and cross country teams in which we had individual state champions.

Music
Make some noise
Music is an integral part of school life. Every student has the chance to play an instrument, join a choir or play in a band.
In Year 7-8, Music is an elective focusing on bands and vocals. In Year 9-10, students concentrate on both solo and group performance, while VCE Music Performance, units 1 to 4 are offered in Year 11-12. Students can either focus on solo or group (band) performance, and can learn an.
Bands, Ensembles, Choirs
Your child can join the music, theatre, vocal ensemble, contemporary vocal ensemble, senior jazz combo, Year 10- 11 funk band, student-led rock bands or guitar ensemble. There are also many opportunities to perform throughout the year, including: the annual theatrical production, concerts, eisteddfods, Open Mic, Arts Week, La Trobe University Lecture Nights, The Vibe at Artspace, festivals, assemblies, Wodonga Children鈥檚 Fair, Battle of the Bands, masses, liturgies, Year 9 Big Gig, CCW Day and Kool Schools recording project (Melbourne).

DRAMA
In the spotlight
Our drama program invites everyone to take a place centre stage. From experienced drama students extending their skills, to those trying it out for the first time, all are encouraged to enrol.
- Students participate in individual, partner and small-group activities focusing on developing their improvisation and performance skills.
- Senior students create original ensemble pieces and solos which they present at our twice-yearly evening performances. They develop collaborative and leadership skills through these theatrical experiences.
- Our annual production is open to all students, and alternates between musical and non-musical shows. We encourage actors, dancers and stage crew from all year levels to get involved.
VISUAL ARTS
The big picture
Our students take great pride in showcasing their art to the wider community. Our excellent visual arts program takes art works from the classroom to the 515直播 Art Exhibition, the St. Mary MacKillop Art Exhibition and Prize and the Murray Arts Museum Albury (MAMA) Year 12 Exhibition.

CAMPS & IMMERSIONS
Away from home
Our camp experiences are directly linked to curriculum learning, student wellbeing, and spiritual growth. Whatever you鈥檙e interested in, we believe that there will be something to inspire you as a learner and a person at 515直播.
We also offer immersions for our students studying French or Japanese. Travelling, living and attending school in France or Japan for three weeks or longer is a fantastic opportunity to expand on language skills and live within the culture of study.
Year 7
Our Year 7 Camp at Feathertop Chalet has a focus on community and occurs early in the year to allow students to build friendships. The range of activities includes raft building, tree climbing, canoeing and a giant swing. This camp is a safe way to push yourself beyond your comfort zone.
Year 8
In Year 8 our focus shifts away from the school community to our broader community with a social justice focus. Throughout the year, students take the lead in the social justice pursuits of the school. This culminates in the winter sleep-out which is an
empathy experience.
Year 9 & 10
The Pathways camps reflect the curriculum that prioritises student choice. A range of camp experiences are offered including Melbourne careers experiences, Canberra Science and Sport, Outdoor Education, Indigenous Outdoor Education, and Canberra Arts and Culture. These experiences are constantly reviewed according to student interest and opportunities.聽
Year 11 & 12
In Years 11 and 12 our students participate in retreats 鈥� a chance to reflect on where they have come from, where they find themselves, now and where they are headed. Working in small groups, large groups, independently and with teacher guides, students explore the role of faith within their lives now and into the future. These experiences are often the highlight of their time at our school, and we take great pride in making them an experience to remember.聽
